Of course you need flight simulator x to run this. It says expansion pack for the award winning flight simulator x right where you buy it. The title of the game even says its just a mission(mission: WWI Dogfight).

Im not a techno geek. So it may very well be my fault that this game doesnt run on my computer. I have an up to date PC, yet this thing wont fly. Be sure to read the fine print- its an add-on, not a stand-alone game. You need to have Flight Simulator X in order for it to run (which cost me another $50). What they really need to do is make a stand-alone version of this game. Disappointing, because Id love to see a new WW 1 flight simulator. My Red Baron 3D is getting long in the tooth now.
